The Kentons are a couple who make a memorable appearance in Season 2's Denise Drives. They are played by Paul Harding and Ann Flood, respectively.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenton are an older couple, Mr. Kenton appearing to be in his early to mid-fifties and Mrs. Kenton in her late forties. They have a consultation with Cliff Huxtable and are surprised to find out, in her advanced age, Mrs. Kenton is pregnant!
At first, Mr. Kenton is bewildered as to how it could have happened, but Cliff reassures him that males in their 70's and beyond are capable of fathering children. Mr. Kenton then reveals he and Mrs. Kenton have a son named Donnie who is 26 years old with a five-year old son. Therefore, their grandchild will be older than their child! Cliff then haphazardly attempts to alleviate their concern by stating that they will be older than all parties concerned and will be able to handle the situation.
Mr. Kenton then jokes about not being able to bend over and pick up the child in his advanced age. The Kentons and Cliff then share a laugh. As they exit the office, Mr. Kenton promises his wife a "special celebration", to which Mrs. Kenton warns that such a thing is how they ended up visiting Dr. Huxtable in the first place!
